Event Cleanup - Barnsley College

We cleared and cleaned after the Barnsley College Christmas event. JRB Services took care of cleaning up after the annual staff party, including cleaning toilets across three floors and ensuring all of the bins had been emptied.

Scope of the project

We were instructed to complete a cleaning project at Barnsley College, covering the main foyer area and three floors of the building.

Just as the staff had broken up for Christmas and celebrated the end of the year, we were instructed to complete a cleaning project at Barnsley College, covering the main foyer area and three floors of the building.

The scope of works included clearing all floors, emptying bins throughout the site, and cleaning the toilets and bathroom areas across each level. The project required a practical, organised approach to ensure all communal areas were left clean, tidy and ready for use.

This was a one-person team taking care of the three separate kitchen areas, two bathrooms, sensory room and all classroom areas. Too bad somebody forgot to take proper pictures of this one; however, there wasn’t any power on site so lighting would have been an issue anyway. The cleaner used a battery powered hoover and a head torch for some parts of this clean.

Our three-person team completed the works across the main foyer and three floors. The project was completed efficiently and to a professional standard, helping to leave the college environment clean, presentable and ready for staff, students and visitors. The caretaker even commended our efforts and complimented how clean the place was!
